♦ Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources report that Quamesha Djonte Sifford, 23, on the Sheriff’s Most Wanted List, was arrested Thursday at a home on 115 Knoll View Drive in Salisbury. After receiving an anonymous tip, Rowan County Sheriff’s Office deputies searched the house and found Sifford hiding in a closet behind a pile of dirty clothes. Deputies became increasingly suspicious when the home’s two occupants, Vincia Allison and Anthony Jones insisted that Sifford was not on the premises and would not let officers in.
