♦ Joshua Douglas Martorelli, 33, a Salisbury man sought for sex crimes, turned himself to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office investigators at the Rowan Magistrate’s Office on 115 W. Liberty St. in Downtown Salisbury prior to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Martorelli is charged with possessing photographic images from secret peeping (felony) and two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor (3rd degree) (felony).
Under a secured $50,000 bond, Martorelli is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.

An article appearing in the January 8th Rowan Free Press: “Salisbury: Wendy Kasper Arrested Friday for Alleged Sex Acts with Dogs and Child Pornography. Joshua Martorelli Sought”
“According to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources Wendy Arlene Kasper, 36, of Salisbury, N.C., was arrested Friday for allegedly engaging in sex acts with dogs on numerous occasions and covertly videoed a female child in a bathroom for alleged pornographic purposes. In a case, involving Rowan County Sheriff’s Office investigators and the Rowan County Department of Social Services since December, it is further alleged that Kasper was involved in a larger child pornography ring with Joshua Douglas Martorelli, 33, also of Salisbury.

Martorelli is being sought by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office with arrest warrants for felony charges of possessing photographic images from secret peeping and 2 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor (3rd degree). Martorelli’s last known whereabouts was in Salisbury’s Old Concord Road area.
On Friday Kasper was charged with 3 counts of crimes against nature (felony), secretly peeping into a room occupied by a female (felony), and possessing photographic images from secret peeping (felony).
Under a secured $25,000 bond, Kasper was held in the Rowan County Detention Center until her release on bond.”
