♦ Nobody murdered in the last few days in Salisbury (As far as we know) although firearms have come into play. Burglaries and break-ins are running at high-tide. Our skeletal police force are still showing up to work for pauper’s pay while they wait on better jobs elsewhere. Give these men and women walking the thin blue line in Salisbury a round of applause. They are outmanned and outgunned by the human crime wave that has taken over every inch of turf in Salisbury. Also applaud our Sheriff’s deputies who patrol our streets. They’re putting their lives on the line.
Salisbury Police sources report that on Saturday January 7th Dershon Mills, 23, was robbed by a gunman forcing his way through the front door of Mills’ apartment at the Courtyard Apartments on 810 S. Main Street. The robber gruffly held a gun on Mills and helped himself to a Play Station 4 video game player valued at $300. You can imagine what he said and his intimidating conversational tone.
The robber quickly exited the apartment and fled across the parking area toward the South Main Street darkness. Mills did not know the robber. No description of the robber is available yet.
No one was injured during the robbery. The robbery remains under investigation.
