♦ Sources in the Salisbury Police Department report that 13 street level drug dealers were rounded up in the past few days. More are expected.
Salisbury Police were assisted by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the SBI, and the N.C. Department of Public Safety. Many of the names and faces in this article are familiar to the our readership because their chronic appearances in our Rowan County Mugshots and crime articles. Many of these suspects were reported by their neighbors. These suspects are alleged lower level operatives in Salisbury’s heroin, meth, crack, and opioid epidemic driving most of the city’s tidal wave of crime.
The following were arrested:
Dennis Miller: 422 Grady St., charged with two counts of selling controlled substance schedule II (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. In the RCDT on a $20,000 bond.
Tracey Heffner: 421 S. Craige St., charged with three counts of selling controlled substance schedule II (cocaine) and possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule II. In RCDT on a $30,000 bond.
James Price Jr.: 517 E. Fisher St., charged with selling controlled substance schedule II (cocaine) and two counts of possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule II. Bonded out of RCDT.
Eugene Oliver: Streets of Salisbury, charged with selling controlled substance schedule II (cocaine) and possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule II. In RCDT on a $10,000 bond.
Angela Fisher: 201 N. Long St., charged with selling controlled substance schedule II (cocaine), possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule II. In RCDT on a $10,000 bond.
Darrell Phillips: 825 W. Horah St., charged with two counts of conspiracy to sell/deliver schedule II (cocaine). Bonded out of RCDT.
Patrick Evans: 316 S. Shaver St., charged with two counts selling controlled substance schedule VI (marijuana) possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule VI, and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance. In RCDT on a $10,000 bond.
Mary Ann Beason: 519 N. Shaver St., charged with selling controlled substance schedule II (cocaine) and possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule II. In RCDT on a $5,000 bond.
Shawn Jones: 216 S. Craige St. charged with two counts of selling controlled substance schedule II (cocaine) and possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule II. In RCDT on a $25,000 bond.
Robert Jaron Price: 33 Kesler St., charged with two counts of selling controlled substance schedule II, possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule II, conspiracy to traffic in opium/heroin, conspiracy to sell/deliver schedule II, maintaining a vehicle. In RCDT on a $60,000 bond.
Albert Shaver: 121 Lily Ave., charged with three counts selling controlled substance schedule VI (marijuana), possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule VI, maintaining a dwelling. In RCDT on a $3,000 bond.
Ritchie Simpson: 807 Shaver St., East Spencer., charged with trafficking opium by selling and traffic in opium by possession. In RCDT on a $40,000 bond.
Lakeesha Dereena Skipper: 700 S. Fulton St., charged with two counts of selling Schedule II (cocaine) and maintaining a dwelling for drug sales. Turned herself in and bonded out.
