♦ Tyler Amier Spencer Nichols, 17, living at 641 Statesville Boulevard turned himself over to the Salisbury Police on Friday for arrest. Nichols was charged assault with a deadly weapon with a intent to kill/seriously injure, 4 counts of breaking and entry a vehicle–rr cars or other motor vehicles, and three counts of larceny. Under a secured $25,000 bond, Nichols was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center. His first court appearance will be Tuesday February 28th.

The RFP February 21st article on the stabbing and shooting at the Colony Garden Apartments in Salisbury: “Salisbury: Johnny Faulkner Shot at a Carjacker after Being Stabbed at the Colony Garden Apartments on Statesville Blvd. Tuesday Morning”:
According to Salisbury Police sources Johnny Mark Faulkner, 43, a resident of the Colony Gardens Apartments at 641 Statesville Boulevard, after being stabbed by a would be carjacker in the parking lot pulled a handgun on his assailant and shot at him, forcing the man to flee the area. The carjacking was reported to 911 dispatch at 12:38 a.m. Tuesday. It is not known at this time if the assailant was struck by bullets.
Faulker was transported to the Novant Rowan Regional Medical Center in serious condition. He suffered stab wounds to the neck, head, and back. He was since been released.
