♦ According to Salisbury Police sources William Pierre Hargrave, 21, of Harrel Street in Salisbury, was arrested Sunday at 4:23 p.m. on 2200 W. Innes Street for an alleged strong arm robbery on February 4th at a home on 600 N. Ellis Street. Hargrave surrendered without incident and was taken into custody.
Hargrave was charged with common law robbery (felony). Under a secured $10,000 bond, he is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center. His next court date is March the 29th.

“Gunfire could be heard at night throughout the city this past weekend. Houses and vehicles continued to be broken into at a breakneck clip. On the upside no one was reported murdered to our knowledge.
Salisbury Police sources report a robbery–strong arm no weapon happened at a home on 600 N. Ellis Street. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 7:45 p.m. The victim’s name was restricted. Assaulted during the robbery, they sustained minor injuries and gave up Galaxy S7 cellphone (valued at $850), $520 in cash, and a wallet valued at $15.
The crime remains under further investigation. No suspects have yet been named in this case.
