♦ Burglaries and major larcenies continue at a high pace thoughout Salisbury, N.C. Salisbury Police sources report that an alternative building and lot at 1708 E. Innes Street for Rives Motor Company, whose main address is 1616 E. Innes Street, was the victim of a burglary–forcible entry and a motor vehicle theft–automobile on Friday. The owner Donnie Rives of Richfield, N.C. called 911 dispatch at 9:19 a.m. to report that a 2007 gold Ford Crown Victoria was stolen from the lot and that a burglar removed a glass window from the building that once served as a motor cycle repair shop. The window damage is estimated at $100 and the stolen Ford Crown Victoria has an estimated value of $4,000.

♦ Sources in the Salisbury Police report that the popular agricultural and garden supply mart, the Tractor Supply Company at 405 S. Jake Alexander Boulevard, was the victim of a larceny–all other on Friday. The larceny was reported to 911 dispatch at 6:57 a.m. A Carry-on utility trailer, valued at $1,800, was stolen from Tractor Supply’s Parking lot.
