♦ While gunfire and sirens were heard all over Salisbury on several consecutive nights, less violent crime, such a break-ins, car burglaries, and stealing plastic furniture off of folks’ porches continues to plague a city in rigor mortis. The Fibrant debacle goes unchecked, financially bleeding out the city. People pray for any kind of state and federal intervention. More bodies are being shoveled into pauper’s graves as the result of China White overdoses. An elderly vagrant lays in an alleyway pleading for medical attention and no one answers. Yesterday’s children are dying of gunshot wounds and drugs before they reach adulthood. The Bury is in trouble.
