♦ Salisbury Police sources report that the Pop Shoppe at 1509 E. Innes Street was the victim of a burglary–forcible entry early Monday morning. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 1:03 a.m. Officers observed that a front door window was smashed to gain entry with a blunt object. Investigators found footprints and noted the suspect wore a facial covering. Taken during the break-in were 2 Cash register boxes worth $1,000 dollars. So far no cash or product was listed as stolen. The front door glass was damaged (valued at $500). The burglar exited through the front door.

No description of the suspect is yet available. No arrests have been made. The crime remains under investigation.
