Salisbury: Vacant House Blaze Wednesday at 213 S. Shaver Street Ruled an Arson. Fire Deliberately Set with a Wood Burning Tool

♦ Salisbury Police Department sources report that Michael Fuller, 66, of 425 S. Fulton St. and Michael Long Huffman, 67, of 228 W. Bank were victims of arson–single residential at a vacant house at 213 S. Shaver Street on Wednesday April the 19th.  The fire was reported to 911 dispatch at 3:33 p.m.  The Salisbury Fire Department arrived on the scene to find a single story vacant structure enveloped by flames and smoke.

After firefighters brought the fire under control, police investigators painstakingly went over the scene and determined the fire was deliberately set with a fire burning tool. The motive for the arson is not yet known. The house was valued at $75,000. No injuries were reported.

According to Police sources on Tuesday, the day prior to the fire, the vacant house was a victim of burglary–unlawful entry.
