Salisbury: Woman Ripped-Off Downtown for Cash and an iPhone Saturday Evening on E. Fisher Street

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Susan Hurt, Ph.D., 56, a clinical and forensic psychologist living in Durham, N.C. was the victim of a larceny–all other at 204 E. Fisher Street on Saturday. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 5:41 p.m.

Hurt gave up a $700 Apple 6 iPhone, $45 in cash, and an “other” item valued at $9.99. There was no report of injuries.  Hurt’s office was next door to where the larceny took place.

At this point no suspects have been named or arrests made.

Downtown becomes dicey as nightfall approaches in a city buried alive by crime.  People are urged to travel in pairs.
