♦ The non-stop sacking of Salisbury, N.C. continues at an incredible pace. Houses, buildings, and vehicles are being broken into and pillaged by an army of revolving door criminals, many dwelling on the streets of the city and a few even arriving from out-of-town. Salisbury is a ripe unprotected plum.
According to Salisbury Police sources on Monday morning the West End Plaza on 1935 W. Jake Alexander Boulevard was the victim of a burglary–forcible entry. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 2:41 a.m. by an alert county employee on the premises. The burglar(s) entered the building, but were likely scared off by the alarm being tripped. This is no account so far of anything being stolen although 2 doors were damaged by a prying tool. The tool mark damage to the doors was estimated at $300.
This crime is under investigation. No suspects yet arrested.

♦ Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources reported that William Troy Wilson, 21, of Salisbury was arrested Friday at 1:35 p.m. when he was spotted by alert deputies by a parking lot at 115 N. Church Street in Salisbury. Wilson, a suspect in two alleged breaking and entries and two larcenies, was wanted for failure to appear and comply. Wilson was promptly taken into custody and handcuffed.
William Troy Wilson:
Wilson was charged 2 counts of larceny (felony), 2 counts of breaking and entering–building (felony), and failure to appear and comply (misdemeanor). Under a secured $27,500 bond, he remains in the Rowan County Detention Center.
