♦ Vandalism is part of the high cost of doing business in Downtown Salisbury. Buildings there get gang tagged, graffitied, paint sloshed on them, windows get rocked, and sometimes windows are shattered by gunfire like what happened at the Waffle House. Downtown Salisbury is the place.
Salisbury Police sources report that Pottery 101, a popular high-end pottery retailer at 101 S. Main Street by the Square, was the victim of vandalism Friday morning when one of their expensive plate glass windows was allegedly struck by a “pellet from a gas powered gun”. The broken window was valued at $1,000. The vandalism was reported to 911 dispatch at 4:25 a.m.

At this time no reports of arrests have been made.
