♦ Salisbury Police sources reported that E. Spencer Police in league with Salisbury Police officers showed up Thursday at 413 E. Torbush St. in E. Spencer with an arrest warrant for Tracy Cameron “Savage Loc” Bernhardt, 20, of 805 Laurel Pointe Circle in Salisbury. They found Bernhardt in a side yard where he was immediately disarmed of a .40 caliber handgun stuffed in his waistband and handcuffed for the ride back to Salisbury to face justice. Bernhardt would face charges for an alleged April armed robbery of a couple at 1010 W. Horah Street. Bernhardt and an unidentified accomplice, attired in hoodie sweatshirts, allegedly held a 12-guage shotgun and a 40-caliber handgun on couple and relieved them of their smartphones, a knife, and a wallet.
After Bernhardt and his accomplice left the scene, the couple drove straight to Salisbury Police HQ. Officers at HQ located a fingerprint, allegedly belonging to Bernhardt, on the robbery victims vehicle door. The warrants were ready on April 27th. Informants tipped off law enforcement where Bernhardt might be found.

Bernhardt was charged with robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons (felony) and possessing stolen goods (felony). The .40-caliber handgun, recovered from Bernhardt, was reported stolen from Greenville, S.C. Under a secured $2,500 bond, he is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
