♦ Neighbors and friends of all around good guy Brian Keith Russell, owner of the top rated recycled goods store “Russell’s Unique Deals” on 106 East Main Street in Rockwell, N.C., contacted the Rowan Free Press about the high-powered pellet gun attack on the store’s front window early Friday Morning. Alerted that one of his front plate glass windows was blown out and littered the sidewalk in front of the store with broken glass, Russell contacted 911 dispatch and the Rockwell Police showed up quickly. The estimated cost of replacing the glass widow is said to be $1,500. That’s a tough loss for any recycled goods store owner to swallow. Hopefully he might get some help from his landlord’s insurance.

Parked nearby Russell’s Unique Deals were two cars whose windows were also vandalized by a high-powered pellet attack Friday morning. The vehicles owners are not happy campers. Further up the street someone attempted to break into Darrell’s Bar-BQ. It is not known if the pellet gun attacks and the attempted break-in were related.
