♦ Salisbury Police sources report the arrest of Bobby Joe Skidmore, 30, a felon living at 201 Morlan Park Road in Salisbury, during a traffic stop on Julian Road for an alleged one-man crime wave encompassing a purse snatching at Harris Teeter at 850 W. Jake Alexander Boulevard on May 15th, the May 15th larceny of Stihl weed eater at True Value Hardware at 1818 W. Innes Street, the May 16th larceny of a $400 dollar leaf blower from a home on the 6000 block S. Main Street, and the May 20th strong-arm robbery–no weapon of a pocketbook in the parking lot of the Food Lion at 525 W. Jake Alexander Boulevard.

Bobby Joe Skidmore:
Skidmore was charged with common law robbery (felony), resist/delay/obstruct public officer (misdemeanor), larceny (felony), 2 counts of larceny (misdemeanor), parole violation (temporary hold) (misdemeanor), and trespass (2nd degree) (misdemeanor).
Under a secure $25,000 bond, Skidmore is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center. His first court date will be on May 23rd.
