♦ Salisbury Police officers were called at 11:12 p.m. Saturday night to a two-story brick apartment complex at 503 N. Ellis Street near W. Cemetery Street. They were responding on the report of multiple gunshots. When officers arrived, they found Timothy Lee Grady, 34, of Greensboro, N.C. laying on the front steps leading to the 2nd floor balcony of the apartments. Grady was pronounced dead at the scene. A neighbor reported multiple shots. The shooting allegedly occurred at the apartment (Apt. 203) of Frankie Eugene Cox, Jr., 30, who is now being sought for Grady’s murder. Both Cox and Grady knew each other.
Cox is the only suspect in the homicide. He stands 6’2″ and weighs 220 lbs. He is considered armed and dangerous and may be in Salisbury.

The Salisbury Police Department is being assisted by investigators from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office at the crime scene.
