As Salisbury, N.C. Drowns in a Tidal Wave of Crime, the Struggling Salisbury Post Gets Embezzled for a $2,000 Aluminum Printer

♦ Salisbury Police Department sources report the Salisbury Post, on 131 W. Innes Street in Salisbury, N.C., was a victim of “embezzlement-all other” on Thursday when an aluminum printer/word processing machine was stolen from the premises. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 8:55 a.m. The aluminum printer/word processing machine is valued at $2,000. It might be peddled to a printing concern or to a metal scrapper.

The suspected employee allegedly drove a 1993 red Chevrolet S10. At this writing the suspect is yet to be identified.

The case remains under investigation.
