♦Thank you Jonathan Morris for telling it like it is in your Jan. 13th Letter-to-the Editor concerning Judy Klusman, a county commission wannabe. I am weary of the county’s attention vampire duo Judy Klusman and GeoRene Jones and their attempts to disrupt the county commission meetings with their self-absorbed demands. I was glad that Chairman Sides gaveled the meeting and warned them they would be removed. They thought the better of it and sat down.
I am off put that Ms. Klusman would present herself as a conservative when she shows no signs of it. Far too many times politicians wrap themselves in the conservative flag so they could try to use us. Jon Barber ran as a conservative Republican the first time and was anything but. Perhaps now he will be brought to justice.
I expect Ms. Klusman to raise a stink and deny her true political colors. She’s only fooling herself.

Eva GeoRene Jones, Rowan County Citizen
Mrs. Klusman is indeed a friend of mine, one of many I might add. I do not know what to make of the Ranger’s use of quotation marks around the word, friend. If he intends it as a euphemism I trust he will be kind enough to spell it out for the likes of my obviously ignorant self? While Mrs. Klusman and I do agree on a few political issues, we also have distinct differences. Please note: even Mr. Sides and Mr. Barber have voted together on a few issues.
I’m uncertain as to what it means if someone “hangs out with” people of specific political persuasion. Exactly how/when/where does Mrs. Klusman “hang out with” Rowan Concerned Citizens. I do know he frequents a local coffee shop. I understand the owner of that local business is willing to serve customers of all political stripes. Does that constitute “hanging out”? If so, then what are we to make of her “hanging out with” the Rowan County Republicans; attends Commissioners meetings, school board meetings, volunteers at Habitat for Humanity Restore, and spends a lot of time meeting Rowan County Citizens one-on-one.
In my read of Republican history, all these seem to be the exact qualities desired for an individual one would want at the helm.
