♦ Rowan County Sheriff’s deputies arrested convicted felon Austin Coy Coleman, 19, in the 200 block of West 14th Street on a number of alleged charges including rape (1st degree), robbery with a firearm, and burglary (1st degree). Considered armed and extremely dangerous, Coleman’s last known address was 308 W. 14th Street just down the block from where he was captured. The arrest was made at 1:10 a.m.
Coleman is now in the Rowan County Detention Center under a secured $250,000. His first court appearance will be on Thursday morning.
