♦ Salisbury Police Department sources report that Don Fortner, DMD, a dental office at 1834 W. Jake Alexander Boulevard, was the victim of a “burglary-forcible entry”, “larceny-from building”, and “vandalism” on Wednesday. The burglar used a blunt object (hammer, rock, club etc.) to break the glass on the office front door and gain entry. Rifling the office, the burglar located $286 in Cash and $11,275.35 in unsigned/unendorsed checks. 2 doors and desks (Valued together at $300) were damaged. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 7:08 a.m.
