♦ According to Salisbury Police sources the Circle K convenience store on 1015 E. Innes Street was the victim of a “robbery-firearm” on Tuesday morning. The robber entered the side door and moved toward the registers. He told a clerk he had a gun and wanted to see the safe. The clerk handed over $47 dollars in cash and the robber grabbed Newport Menthol cigarettes valued at $5.62. Leaving by the side door, the robber disappeared into the darkness beyond the lot. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 3:29 a.m.
The case remains open. No suspects have been named at this time.

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that a suspicious fire involving two vehicles, a 2003 white Chevrolet Impala and a 2010 Gray GMC Acura, that spread to a carport on 204 Sheridan Drive on Tuesday was ruled an arson by investigators. The fire was believed to be purposely set with a fire burning tool. The fire was reported to 911 dispatch at 1:04 a.m.
Christopher Michael Brown, 30, living at 204 Sheridan Drive, and Travis Shane Moore, 37, living on Ferris Avenue in Rockwell were victims of “arson motor vehicle” when their vehicles were set on fire. The fire from the burning vehicles spread to the ceiling of their carport enclosure.
