♦ Salisbury police sources report that Dallas Shaun Ervin, 18, of Salisbury was the victim of “assault-Knife” in the street by his home on 627 Elm Street early Friday morning. Ervin reportedly suffered “severe lacerations” when a yet to be identified neighbor assaulted him with an industrial box cutter razor during an altercation. It is not known at the time of this report if he was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of his wounds.
No arrests have been made in this case or motives been provided for the assault.
