♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Matthew Ferrell Church, 33, dwelling at 490 Neazer Street in Rockwell, was arrested on the charge of “indecent exposure” (misdemeanor) when he surrendered himself to the Salisbury Police on an outstanding warrant at their HQ on Thursday at 9:30 P.M. After being fingerprinted and photographed, Church was released on a written promise to appear. The alleged “indecent exposure” incident occurred at the Hampton Inn parking lot at 1001 Klumac Road in Salisbury with a female Hampton Inn employee on Wednesday, September 20th at 1:30 a.m.
Mathew Ferrell Church:
Church has a pending sex crimes case involving an alleged solicitation of a 12 year-old girl on a social media site. The 2015 felony sex crimes charge of “soliciting a child by computer” led to Church’s arrest and his release on a $10,000 bond.
More recently Church, a musician, was scheduled to perform at the Morgan Ridge Railwalk Brewery & Eatery in Downtown Salisbury, but the show was cancelled due to adverse Facebook activity about Church’s alleged sex crimes with a child and pending court case.

According to Salisbury Police sources a white male is his 20s fully exposed himself to a female hotel employee in the Hampton Inn parking lot at 1001 Klumac Road early Wednesday morning. The hotel employee reportedly was walking through the lot when a man driving a silver Honda Civic pulled up near her and asked her if the Hampton had any available rooms. He drove off after she answered.
A short time late the man drove back though the lot and caught the employees attention. He exposed his genitals and smiled.
According to Police descriptions the man was thin, white, had short brown hair, and was in his early 20s. His vehicle had a North Carolina tag.
