♦ Saturday morning, at approximately 6:30 a.m, an armed robber fired a shot through the window of the “Cook Out” drive-through restaurant at 801 E. Innes in Salisbury before barging inside. He escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash from a Cook Out employee according to police sources. No one was reported injured.
The gunman is described as a black male about 5’8 to 5’9 with shoulder-length dreadlocks. He covered a part of his face with a black ski mask. The robber wore black cargo pants and a black jacket and carried a blue and gray book bag. He may be connected to armed robberies at Cook Outs in Charlotte, Indian Trail, and Denver, N.C. Do not try to apprehend.
