In a recent update from the highly acclaimed AreaVibes.com Real Estate Report showed Salisbury, N.C. slumping to 667th ranked city/town in North Carolina. Not much of a surprise with people selling their homes and moving out. Just about all of its city’s systems are failing: high violent and property crime, soaring poverty, badly performing public schools within the city limits, businesses shuttering, Salisbury’s municipal broadband fiasco which is draining the city’s finances, a skeletal police force in a sea of crime , and other city services shrinking. The local housing market is in a panic mode. It’s way past the time for people to stop denying Salisbury’s crisis mode. It’s time to strap in, fully face and accept Salisbury’s collapse, and start taking action.
