Salisbury: Woman Strong Armed Robbed at Pit Stop on S. Main Tuesday Night During a Meet Up Deal. Gets Bipped for her $400 IPhone

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Ashley Crenshaw, 22, who lives in Charlotte, was the victim of a “robbery-strong arm no weapon” at the Pit Stop Convenience store on 2412 S. Main Street in Salisbury.  Crenshaw had a “meet up” deal arranged at a “Let Go” website to sell her IPhone 6 (Valued at $400) to a stranger late Tuesday night at Pit Stop.

When Crenshaw showed the phone, the man snatched it and pushed her before running off. The robber is described as a Black male about 5’11”, slim build, and weighing approximately 150 lbs.

No injuries were reported.

For folks selling items on “meet up” deals they are cautioned to do it during daylight hours, in highly public places, and never in parking lots especially in Salisbury Convenience store parking lots. They are crime scenes waiting to happen.
