According to Salisbury Police sources Deviyion Unique Barnhardt, 18, living on 318 Foster Lane in Salisbury was arrested Monday at 5:52 p.m. when he was taken into custody by Salisbury Police Officers in the parking lot of McDonald’s Restaurant at 704 E. Innes Street. Davis was arrested on outstanding warrants for the alleged February 2nd shooting of Devron Davis.

According to Salisbury Police sources Devron Davis, 25, of Loop Street in Salisbury, was the victim of an “assault-gun” on Monday at the hands of a yet unidentified gunman. Davis was reported dropped off by a private vehicle at the entrance to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center ER at 612 Mocksville Avenue where the Salisbury Police were informed by the ER staff that Davis suffered from a gunshot wound. Under N.C. Law hospitals are required to report such matters.
Davis’s gunshot wound to the left side of his head was a superficial graze. He was treated and released.
According to reports,Davis allegedly gave conflicting reports about where he was shot to officers and was uncooperative. The Salisbury Police desire to interview Davis again later in hopes he will cooperate.
