In case you can’t get around the ads, pop-ups, and meaningless quizzes, the Manager of the Fishwrapper is carping today about the tariff on imported Canadian newsprint paper in favor of American paper plants. It seems the Canadian government is giving their folks certain tax breaks so they can undercut US newsprint paper in price. He estimates it the Fishwrapper $200K more per year and infers that the survival of the Fisherwrapper is at stake. Seeing that the Fishwrapper has become little more than a booster for all things anti-gun, Greg “Pee Wee” Edds and his “fake it until you make it Crew La Poo” and Salisbury’s “vibrant” Downtown. You know where the Fishwrapper owns a lot of those vacant properties? The Fishwrapper could turn off their lights and I’d say “The world’s a far better place”. The Fishwrapper’s manager asks that you contact our Republican Congressmen. Maybe you should. American jobs saved vs. the Fishwrapper’s bottom line? That’s an easy one. American jobs saved!

US Representative Debbie Wasserman Shultz (D-Florida) introduced a bill that would require record checks for ammunition purposes nationwide. This is really no news. She claims that while there may be a constitutional right to have arms, there is not a right to bear bullets. Seriously. Her Florida constituents live in an area between two swamps just north of Miami that includes parts of Broward and Miami-Dade counties. You might remember she was the head of the DNC until recently Wikileaks revealed she had been using her influence to make sure Hillary won the primary. This no doubt helps make her popular among all the aging Northern snow birds that have fled the violence and taxes of New York and now seek to replicate their former political structure in the South.
What is important is there is a web page claiming GOP Senator Thom Tillis has either “co-sponsored” or voted for this bill. (Tillis is a Republican Senator, not a Congressman). The claims are false. It’s too new to come up for a vote and here is the list directly from the official Congressional site that clearly proves all co-sponsors are Democrats.

Tillis may not be as conservative as some would like, however with Second Amendment Rights under full assault by the Democratic Party, I urge my fellow Republicans to check sources for what they read about other Republicans. Should Tillis lose to a Democrat, American firearms rights would be in grave jeopardy.
