According to Salisbury Police sources the much robbed Circle K Express/76 filling station convenience store on 1015 E. Innes Street was the victim of a “robbery-firearm” on Saturday morning. The robber(s) threatened the clerk with an undetermined firearm and helped himself to $75 cash and $6.52 worth of Newport cigarettes. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 5:12 a.m. Mercifully no injuries were reported. Officers quickly responded to the scene, but the bandit(s) fled the area.
At this time no description of the robber (s) is available and no suspects have been named. The armed robbery remains under investigation.
