Jody Edgar Hall:

According to Sheriff’s Office sources the victim was at home with two friends, a man and a woman, when Hall, the former boyfriend, showed up uninvited and began threatening her from outside her home. When she went to the door and opened it, she saw Hall allegedly drawing back on his bow. Hall then allegedly attempted to force his way through the door, but failed. From outside the house he launched an arrow through the bedroom window and it lodged in the wall above a male friend’s head.

Hall showed no quit. He allegedly yelled at his ex-girlfriend that if she didn’t let him into her home, he’d burn it down. The former flame wasn’t budging–she called 911 which brought the Sheriff’s deputies out to Ellen Street. All they could find of Hall was his moped. Meanwhile “cupid” climbed a tree and watched the activity unfolding below from his perch.

For a time, Hall evaded detection while deputies drove into Salisbury and got warrants at the Magistrate’s office.

Hall once more returned to his ex-girlfriend’s home and allegedly attempted to kick down the door. Soon the deputies returned with warrants and arrested Hall.
