The vandals are having a hot time in the ole town these past few months. Expensive plate glass windows are getting rocked. Graffiti and gang tags are making a resurgence. Cars are getting keyed with larger and meaner spirited tools. Paint isn’t just being sprayed on buildings, homes, and cars, it’s getting hurled at them. Excessive vandalism is a barometer for an area’s meltdown and it sure enough adds to the high cost of doing business.
According to Salisbury Police sources Sam’s Car Wash at 1022 W. Innes Street, one of Salisbury’s oldest existing businesses (Since 1962), took a major hit Monday when vandals hurled a chemical/acid at its exterior walls causing $3,500 worth of damage.
