♦ The Rowan County Commission meeting is scheduled to meet on Monday at 1 p.m. on February 3rd at the J. Newton Cohen, Sr. Room in the Rowan County Administration Building on 130 West Innes Street, Salisbury, NC. On the Agenda will be:

• Approval of Gildan Incentives Agreements

• Consider Funding Additional Parking for Rufty-Holmes Senior Center

• Budget Work Session, to Follow the Regular Meeting, to Discuss a Potential Property Tax Increase in the Coming Fiscal year starting on July 1st. The Amount of the Property Tax Raise Might Include Raises for County Employees and Money from a Possible School System Litigation.

• Quasi-judicial Hearing for CUP 01-14

• Proclamation Honoring the Public Service of Essie Kiser Foxx of East Spencer

• Award Service Sidearm to Retiring Deputy James Rollings

• Proclamation Honoring the 175th Anniversary of Gay’s Chapel United Methodist
