♦ Quashone Smith,16, and Daniel Chambers,16, are being held today on felony arson charges at the Rowan County Detention Centerfor an arson they allegedly started in January. Each has a $5000 bond. Both young man were caught on camera by Salisbury High video cams. According to law enforcement sources, Smith and Chambers allegedly set fire to a toilet paper roll and plugged up toilets causing them to flood Salisbury High School’s 2nd and 3rd floor bathrooms. Smoke filled the hallways leading to the fire’s detection.
