♦ Have you seen the ex Wisconsin legislator who is running for our County Commission at any of the polling places? She has kept out of sight at the polls. I asked her about this and she said she was using her own campaign strategy. She knows that if you compare her views with the other candidates, or your own views, that you will realize that she is very liberal, and not conservative at all. She is out of touch with most of us. Do you know what she actually believes? Does it square with what you believe? Or did you just listen to her glib campaign spiel? Better ask her some questions before you vote or you may help elect someone who has completely different values and ideas than you have.
For example, I asked her what she thought about the Marriage amendment passed by our Legislator in 2012 that defines marriage as being between a man and a woman. She did not want to discuss that. Obviously she disagrees with that definition. Do you?
Another example; I asked what she thought of our recently passed photo voter ID law. She did not want to discuss that either. Obviously she disagrees with it. Do you?
When I mentiioned the second amendment with her, she showed no concern about our right to bare arms Are they important to you?
Other questions need to be asked of Judy Klusman. Is she pro life? Her slick campaign piece does not say. I bet she believes abortions are just fine.
How does she feel about the illegal aliens in our county? Again her slick campaign piece does not say. I’d bet she thinks having illegals here is just fine too.
Where does she stand on forced annexation or the de-annexation of the airport? She does not address that issue either.
Will she fight as hard to keep our taxes low as our current Commissioners do? I doubt it.
What is her view on how to improve education for our children? She doesn’t say.
What will she do to improve job opportunities for our work force? She doesn’t say.
She does say she wants to sell the newly purchased West End Plaza. Do you agree?
She claims to be an “experienced leader” in Wisconsin, but did she tell you she was second place in the “lapdog” award one year? The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a lapdog as “a weak person that is controlled by someone else”. Do you want a lapdog as a Commissioner? I don’t.
She refused to disavow the dirty tricks her supporters tried to pull on her opponents. Her very close friend, Eva GeoRene Jones played “papparazzi” attempting to provoke reactions that could be used to embarrass or discredit her opponents. Two of Jones’ and Klusman’s friends were across the street with camera’s with telephoto lens to get photographic evidence of any misbehavior (there was none). Their attempt at entrapment failed. Do you approve of such dirty tactics? She did.
Do your values and beliefs match Klusman’s? Her values and beliefs may have fooled Wisconsin voters into electing her, but they do not match the values and beliefs of most people in Rowan county. Her values do however, seem to match those of Todd Paris and his group of Parasites that are the core supporters of his Political Action Committee La Resistance.. It seems some rich sugar daddy is obviously contributing heavily to her campaign in an attempt to buy a seat on the County Commission. This will be made public when elections reports are filed. Who are her big contributors? Her campaign is costing many thousands of dollars. I see her campaign signs mainly in Salisbury. Will she fairly represent all other towns and rural residents? Don’t count on it.
Ask questions and find candidates who you agree with you on most issues that are important to you. You may find, as I did, that you disagree with her on way too many issues, so pick another candidate. I voted for Jim Sides and Joe Coladarci.
