♦ SCV Camp 405 will present a program on “Locating Historical Artifacts with Metal Detectors” in the Stanback Room at the Rowan Public Library at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday June 11th. The program will be given by Mr. Steve Thomas on relics that can found with a metal detector. Steve is from Davidson County and is president of Carolina Historical Association. He will bring a collection of artifacts that he and his friend, Ricky Bean, have found throughout the years. This is your chance to find out about metal detectors and ask questions about this interesting hobby.
