♦ Jonathan Elijah Ijames, 24, a wide-ranging burglar and safecracker and a year on the Rowan County Sheriff Office’s MOST WANTED list, was arrested in Gulfport, Mississippi. He faces extradition to Rowan County, N.C. where he was noted for his residential break-ins in West Rowan.
Ijames’s record is extensive dating back to his 16th birthday and it includes possession of a firearm by a felon, safecracking, burglaries, assault with a deadly weapon, and a simple assault.
On the run since late 2013, Ijames made the Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List in 2013 and was arrested since then in Hillsboro, FL and Gulfport, Mississippi.
