♦ Bobby Ray “Peanut” Cabe, Jr., 40, of Dot Road in Thomasville, N.C, was charged with armed robbery of a Salisbury CVS Pharmacy at 1702 E. Innes Street on January 9th and another CVS stick-up in Rockwell, N.C. in December. More recently Cabe was arrested for a robbery gone bad at a Winston-Salem Walgreens Pharmacy on January 29th. Cabe was collared along with Mathew Greer, 31, and Kimberly Ann Hughes after Cabe jumped off the 40 foot high Salem Lake Bridge and sustained injuries.
During the January Salisbury CVS Pharmacy robbery Cabe wore a camo jacket, a black hat, and brandished a silver-plated revolver when he allegedly held a gun three employees. Cabe was said to have forced a CVS employee to open 2 safes and turn over Oxycodone and Opana pills.
In the Rockwell CVS robbery in December the robber wore a camo jacket and pants and brandished a black handgun. The bandit made off on foot with a variety of pharmaceuticals.
Salisbury Police charged Cabe with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony possession of a firearm by a felon. He is currently in Forsyth County Jail on a $350,000 secured bond awaiting a court date on February 19th 2015.
