♦ Jayquan Kyon Hamilton, 19, of 115 E. Henderlite Street in Salisbury, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. today and charged for the shooting death of D.J.’s worker Oscar Miquel Aguilera, 24. Aquilera, a native of Honduras was left in the grass between the Lakewood Apartments near Statesville Blvd. in Salisbury.
Aguillera’s was found a short distance from where he and his young family lived at the Lakewood Apartment complex. Friends said he was a walking home from his job at D.J.’s Restaurant when he was coldly gunned down. Aguillera left behind a wife and two young children.
Hamilton is being held without bond at the Rowan County Detention Center.
