♦With a rally crowd approaching 3,000 outside on Monday evening, the Rowan County Commission chambers were filled to overflow. Of special note was the public commentary period filled with pastors and attorneys where Jonathan Morris “rebuked” County Commissioner Jon Barber and asked for his resignation. Much later in the county commissioner proceedings, the county commissioners voted 4 to 1 to move forward with the censure process of commissioner Jon Barber.
