♦I very recently “discovered” Rowan Free Press when a friend told me about the incident at the Republican Men’s Breakfast. I never found the video that was posted because it was removed before I saw the paper. In the comments on the other news website there was mention of a Paul Revere website and through a search online I finally browsed to your website.
Thank you for your complete coverage without name-calling. I appreciate the factual accounts. So many times my family has read articles in the other paper and discussed them, but we can’t know what really happened because the basic Who-What-When-Where-Why-How of journalism is not all there, only subjective terms supporting one side and denigrating the other. I have browsed many of the articles you have posted. Wow! What a difference in the attitude of your editorial staff compared to the other “news” source!
Finally, I can find out what really goes on at the public meetings that I am unable to attend. I didn’t know that County Commission meetings are recorded and posted online along with their agendas and minutes. Thank you for that information! I find that after I read your articles reporting on the meetings, the videos confirmed your reports.
