♦ Salisbury Police Sources reported that Thomas Hughes Robinson, 18, wanted for a November 3rd Home Invasion/Armed Robbery on W. Horah Street, was arrested Tuesday after fleeing from officers into the Oakdale-Union Hill Cemetery at 1243 Brenner Avenue. Minutes earlier officers spotted Robinson on the porch of his former home before he took off running toward the cemetery.
Robinson was sought for his alleged part in the November 3rd home invasion where an exceptionally brutal robbery was reported on West Horah St. near Partee St. in the city’s West End. A trio knocked on the door, then burst into the home as the door opened. From that point on the trio allegedly terrorized the occupants, pistol whipping one (They required hospital treatment) and allegedly holding residents hostage while a home invader went off to try his luck at an ATM with one of the occupants ATM cards.

Robinson was charged with common law robbery (felony), robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons (felony), and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury (felony). Under a secured $200,000 bond, he is being held at the Rowan County Detention Center.
