♦ Around 8:15 p.m. tonight, the Dollar General Store at 335 North Salisbury Avenue in Spencer NC was robbed. Two thin Black males with pistols accosted employees and fled he scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. They were last seen running in a West down Harrison Street towards North Rowan High School. No Dollar General employees were said to be injured.

Spencer PD had at least six cars on scene and did not appear to be assisted by any other departments. Criminals should beware. The Spencer Police are fully staffed with experienced officers who tend to remain with the team.
