♦Could hardly believe it when I saw the RFP headlines around 8 p.m. Monday night: “Tonight’s County Commission Meeting. $6.5 Million Dollars Approved for Central Office at 504 N. Main St.” Took me a minute to digest that. There was no mention whatsoever of 329 S. Main. None at all. All those months of hard sell by the Post and downtown Salisbury. In the end for nothing.
Remember Randy Hemann and all those people that packed the county commission chamber to read his talking points? The bricks being built up down at Salisbury’s city council? The mind numbing story after story at the Salisbury Post promoting 329 S. Main. The letters-to-the editor at the Post. We need 329 S. Main for the children blah–blah-blah. They never got it done. Nothing the city tries their hand at goes any place.
Just get used to it. No Central Office at 329 S. Main.
