According to Salisbury Police sources unknown persons damaged vehicles parked at the historic Andrew Murphy House built in 1853 at 229 W. Bank Street in Salisbury’s historic district. The house is about a half a block away from the historic Hall House slave planation on S. Jackson Street. The historic district has been beset by car break-ins, vandalisms, burglaries, and street assaults. On Friday morning Sarah Lagore, 58, living at 229 W. Bank Street and Misty Edwards, 40, of W. Innes Street were victims of “miscellaneous property damage” when their two Toyota vehicles suffered damage from an unknown offender colliding into them. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 12:38 a.m.
