Salisbury: Joshua Dimitri Clark Arrested Tuesday Afternoon for the Alleged Murder of his Grandmother Melanie Anita Clark on Dulin Avenue

♦ According to sources in the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Joshua Dimitri Clark, 25, of 225 Happy Lake Road in Rockwell, was arrested Tuesday at 5:48 p.m. for the alleged murder and armed robbery of his Grandmother Melanie Anita Clark on Monday night. Armed with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, he robbed his grandmother of her Wells Fargo Credit Card.

Clark’s home on 225 Happy Lake Road underwent an intensive search yesterday.

RFP Article Earlier Today: “UPDATED! Salisbury: Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Investigating the Death of Melanie Anita Clark on 345 Dulin Avenue as a Homicide”:

“According to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources the death of Melanie Anita Clark, 62, living at 345 Dulin Avenue near Mt. Hope Church Road in Salisbury, has moved from “death by cardiac arrest” to a homicide since Rowan County Sheriff’s deputies were called by 911 dispatch to assist fire and emergency services personnel at Clark’s home on Monday at 11:18 p.m. Deputies quickly determined that Clark showed no signs of breathing or consciousness. Emergency personnel confirmed that Clark had expired.

345 Dulin Avenue, Salisbury, NC:

It was reported that Clark was last seen alive on Saturday in this quiet neighborhood.

Sheriff’s Office investigators could be seen going and coming from the house Monday and early Tuesday morning. Crime Scene tape was stretched around the front of the home.
