Promises a Campaign Focused on Personal Liberty and Freedom
CHARLOTTE, NC – Vince Coakley officially filed his paperwork today with the North Carolina State Board of Elections to become a Republican candidate for Congress in North Carolina’s Twelfth Congressional District. Coakley promises a campaign focused on personal liberty and freedom rather than political parties and labels. “The families and small businesses of District 12 continue to suffer through the economic downturn created by the dysfunction in Washington and Congress,” said Coakley. “Democrats and Republicans are both responsible for the record debt and job loss which is preventing small businesses and families from digging out of this sluggish economy. “Rather than focus on Democrat and Republican politics, we should focus on the eternal guiding principles our Founding Fathers followed in creating the Constitution – freedom, liberty, and opportunity. Those principles created the greatest nation in the world, and will resurrect the United States to once again be the freest and most prosperous nation with limitless opportunity for all.” Vince Coakley is a former broadcast television journalist, anchor and radio host in Charlotte, NC. His greatest passion is God’s glory and working in partnership with other faith leaders to help believers lead healthy lives in the Body of Christ.
