♦ What brainiacs in the Rowan-Salisbury Schools decided it was ok to endanger thousands of our children and parents today and send them out on icy roads. All over Rowan County cars and trucks were sliding and having accidents. Whoever makes these decisions for the school system needed to watch the weather reports since 10 p.m. last night and they said freezing rain, sleet, ice pellets and the whole 9 yards of dangerous road conditions. Does Rowan-Salisbury schools get their weather reports from Al Jazeera?
I applaud all the parents who did right by keeping their kids home this morning, safe and sound. If whoever is in charge can’t look outside or watch a weather report they need to start looking for another job and stop pocketing taxpayer money.
