♦ In accordance with NCGS 153A-40(b), the Chairman of the Rowan County Board of Commissioners has called a special meeting to be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the J. Newton Cohen, Sr. Rowan County Administration Building, located at 130 West Innes Street, second floor in the J. Newton, Cohen, Sr. Room, Salisbury, North Carolina.
The purpose of the meeting will be for the Rowan County Board of Commissioners to meet jointly with the Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education to discuss a proposed mediated settlement agreement regarding funding needs for the Rowan-Salisbury School System.
